Northwest Bamboo Inc. products, in their original manufactured condition, are warranted to be free from defects in lamination, assembly, milling and finishing for Ten (10) years. Northwest Bamboo Inc., further warrants that even when installed on a radiant heated concrete sub-flooring, will not buckle, cup or warp, when properly installed and maintained. Industry standards allow a tolerance in quality variations not to exceed 5% of the total quantity purchased. Northwest Bamboo Inc. will replace any material in excess of this 5% tolerance (excluding labor costs and shipping fees). The manufacturer warrants this bamboo flooring from the date of purchase against defects under conditions of normal wear to the original residential purchaser provided all installation guidelines have been followed.

Northwest Bamboo Inc. warrants to the original purchaser effective from January 2002 that it's surface wear layer of Aluminum Oxide will not wear through or separate from the bamboo for Twenty five (25) years from the date of purchase. This warranty is for normal residential traffic provided that all preventative maintenance and care operations were maintained.

a) Warranty does not cover indentations, scratches or damages caused by negligence, water, erosion, insects, pets, spiked heeled shoes or shoes in need of repair. Failure to follow all the manufacturer's specific written installation instructions, improper maintenance (including the use of detergents, furniture dusting sprays or any other cleaning and maintenance products), insufficient protection, misuse or improper alterations of the original manufactured product.

b) Gloss reduction is not considered surface wear. The surface wear must not have occurred as a result of incorrect maintenance or accidents, e.g. scratches, dents, etc. The surface wear must be readily visible and at least 10% of the floor surface must be affected.

c) Northwest Bamboo Inc. cannot warranty fading due to sunlight. As time goes by, normal exposure to sunlight will slightly change the color of any hardwood floor. Shift your mats occasionally because they block the sunlight. This coloration is normal and is not due to manufacturing faults.

d) Gapping, cupping and crowning will not be warranted as generally these are caused by acts of nature that usually involves moisture.

e) The final inspection as to this products quality is the installer's and/or the owners responsibility. All flooring products should be inspected prior to installation. Carefully examine flooring for color, grade, finish and general quality before installation. If any material is not acceptable immediately contact your authorized dealer and DO NOT INSTALL THE FLOOR, once the strip has been nailed down, it is deemed acceptable by the installer and/or owner. This warranty DOES NOT accept claims on already installed material or products.

f) This warranty DOES NOT cover any incidental expenses including labor costs.

g) The installation is the responsibility of the installer and client and is not warranted under this warranty.

f) No warranty applied to any products sold "AS IS", unpaid products or on site refinished products.

a) The original purchaser must notify the manufacturer or their agents in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering any problem. Claims must also be filed within the warranty coverage period. A copy of the original invoice or receipt is required. Claims must include a description of the problem and a copy of the dealer invoice to establish the date and cost.

b) Northwest Bamboo Inc. reserves the right to examine the floor in order to determine the appropriate course of action. No attempt shall be made to refinish, repair or replace any material prior to the inspection or this will void the warrantee.
